Magix (Sony) Vegas Pro is a professional program for multitrack recording, editing, and editing of video and audio streams.

It is a multitrack digital nonlinear video and audio editing system. Vegas offers an infinite number of video and audio tracks, each with a different track pair (A/B), advanced music composition tools, and full-duplex multi-channel I/O (26 physical outputs with an independent mix bus on each can be used for signal output), Real-time resampling, automatic crossfades, MIDI Time Code and MIDI Clock synchronization, dithering (with noise-shaping) on subgroup outputs and, of course, 24/32-bit audio with 192 kHz sample rate. For real-time audio processing, a four-band parametric equalizer and compressor can be installed in the gap of each track, and 32 sends to plug-in modules in DirectX format can be used. Different data formats can be added to the same track at the same time, without conversion or rendering.

You can import MPEG/AC3 files from a DVD camcorder! Vegas allows you to transfer VOB files with an AC3 audio channel directly to the timeline. Sony Vegas allows you to render in MPEG-4 / AVC / H.264 file formats.
