Carroll for Windows

Carroll is a simple tool for controlling monitor screen resolution. In situations where several people use the same computer, logging in with different accounts, the screen resolution is set the same for all users. This is not always convenient, because each of us has different preferences for screen settings, which can also depend on the applications used.

The program will change this situation by allowing each user to automatically (without manual intervention) activate the screen resolution he/she has selected when logging in. When you run the program for the first time, you will be prompted to select the type of resolution from the list offered. The list is quite long, experiment to get the best result for you. When you have found the type you want, just click "Change screen resolution and restore with every logon" - now this will be the default screen resolution mode when you log in. Other users of the same PC do the same thing but under their own accounts.

Carroll doesn't seem to do anything special, but still, sometimes this setting can be very useful, without forcing you to constantly change the screen settings "to suit you".
