FreeMove is a simple and free utility that helps you quickly and safely move a program or game directory from one drive to another without reinstalling it.
You can use the program to move programs installed by default on C:\ to another drive to save space on your main drive.
How it works:
- specify the location of the folder we want to move to another disk;
- set the new location of our directory;
- files are moved to the new location;
- a symbolic link (symlink) is created, after which any program trying to access the file in the old location will be automatically redirected to the new location.
The program can be installed as a standard program or used as a portable version on any removable media.
