Foobar 2000 is a powerful media player created by one of the developers of WinAmp.

The main features of the program:

• Support for WAV, AIFF, VOC, AU, SND, Ogg Vorbis, MPC, MP2, MP3 formats, support via official plug-ins (in normal and special versions) for MPEG-4 AAC, FLAC, OggFLAC, Monkey's Audio, WavPack, Speex, CDDA, TFMX, SPC, MOD formats.
• On-the-fly unpacking of RAR and ZIP archives.
• Low system resource requirements and efficient work with large playlists.
• Support for several playlists at the same time.
• High quality sound is provided thanks to high-quality audio decoders and sound processing with 64-bit bit rate at all stages, as opposed to the usual 16 bits in other players. This guarantees signal quality even after processing with many DSP plug-ins (10-band equalizer, limiter, etc.).
• Support of ReplayGain technology, which makes files of different volume levels sound at the same level in this player, and, most importantly, it does not modify the audio stream itself (unlike mp3gain and other similar ones, when there is a certain degradation of the audio stream), but only adds certain tags.
• Advanced file and tag processing system - built-in masstager, renamer, full file information.
• Can copy audio stream from AudioCD and compress it on the fly into many formats, as well as put tags from freedb.org, and not only to disks but also to already compressed files. And also with the installed program Nero is able to record AudioCD.
