FAR Manager is a file and archive management program in Windows. The program works in text mode and allows you to simply and clearly perform most of the necessary actions: browse files and directories, edit, copy and rename files, and much more.
The application has a multilingual, easily customisable interface. Colour coding and file sorting groups provide easy navigation through the file system.
FAR Manager functionality is significantly extended with plugins, which can be included in the application. For example, working with archives, FTP-client, timeline panel and network browsing are implemented with plug-ins included in the standard delivery of the manager.
