Cool Reader is a convenient program for reading e-books in a large number of formats, including EPUB, FB2, RTF, TXT, HTML, CHM, PDB, MOBI, TCR. It is indispensable for those who have to read a large amount of text from the screen.

Reformatting the text to fit any font size, smoothing (antialiasing) of screen fonts, fully customizable palette, textured background, smooth scrolling, 3D animation will reduce the load on vision. The conveniently implemented function of reading aloud using SpeechAPI engines allows you to listen a book while doing other things and not straining your eyes at all.

The program is optimized for reading fiction, understands the format of most books downloaded from electronic library sites. Recognizes paragraph borders, headings and quotes using AI elements. Supports unpacking books from ZIP, RAR, ARJ, HA, LZH archives. Reads html, rtf, doc, txt, fb2, epub, chm, pdb, mobi, tcr formats. It automatically recognizes Russian encodings dos, win, koi-8, as well as Latin, utf-8, unicode and text format (paragraphs, titles, quotes).
