Blender is a free three-dimensional graphics and animation editor. Despite its relatively small size, the functions of this package are enough to work for both ordinary users and professionals.
The program has all the basic tools that are used in professional 3D editors. The program includes tools for 3D modeling, animation, rendering, video processing, a set of options for creating interactive games, visual 3D effects, and much more. Using this program, you can create realistic 3D pictures, with the quality of a digital photo.
Blender, like any professional 3D package, has a large number of primitives from which you can assemble your own models. Various rings, cubes, spheres, cylinders, additional meshes, etc.
The relatively small size of the distribution package contains a full-fledged core editor with all the basic functions and a minimal set of textures/models/event handlers. Additional features are implemented by plug-ins, both official ones, created by the authors of the editor, and developed by users.
All in all, this platform is an excellent free alternative to the titans of 3D modeling.
