Autoruns is a program for controlling the automatic loading of various applications, services, and components that start at OS startup.
The program checks Autoruns, Run, RunOnce, and other registry sections and keys. If desired, Autoruns can be configured to monitor other locations as well, including Explorer modules, control panels, BHOs (Browser Helper Objects), Winlogon notifications, automatically started services, services, and many others.
With Autoruns, you can not only control the autorun of applications but also disable the autoloading of any of them. To do this, just uncheck the appropriate checkbox.
In addition to system configuration, Autoruns allows you to monitor malicious programs, which usually enter their keys in the Autorun section of the operating system's registry.
