Alcohol 120% is a powerful program for burning CD/DVD/Blu-ray discs, creating virtual drives on your computer, and emulating data from an optical disc. This application can write to a hard drive (hard drive, flash drive) an image of a disc with data, audio, or video information, and then provide access to this data to other programs as if the optical drive you are looking for is actually in the drive. This is especially true for many computer games which are run only from the disc.

In addition, saving the disc image as a specific archive on your computer is much safer than storing the data on regular CD/DVD/Blu-ray discs.
