DAEMON Tools Ultra for Windows

DAEMON Tools Ultra is a powerful multifunctional application combining all the main features of the popular DAEMON Tools optical drives emulator, an excellent and user-friendly interface, and several additional features for the most productive work with discs and bootable devices.

The program allows you to create virtual drives, and their number is not limited by software - clone as many drives as you want. Write image files to discs instead of burning them "live" on a CD/DVD. This is useful when you will be using a PC or notebook without an optical drive and a certain application or program (e.g. a game) requires constant access to the resources on an optical disc in its work. In addition, with the help of virtual drives, you can check your CD/DVDs before actually burning and minimize the wear and tear of the physical drive.

The application supports all known disc images: .mdx, .mds/.mdf, .iso, .b5t, .b6t, .bwt, .ccd, .cdi, .bin/.cue, .ape/.cue, .flac/.cue, .nrg, .isz. In addition, you can convert and burn the above images and CD/DVD/Blu-ray disks into .mdf/.mds, .mdx, or .iso formats.

Of course, the tool works with bootable USB devices. Now the operating system installer can be stored on a more reliable, durable, and compact device, allowing you to install/reinstall the system quickly and easily if necessary.

It is worth highlighting the possibility to create and mount Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) images: you can store data in VHD-format images and access them easily. It also allows you to work with RAM disks that use blocks of RAM. This way you will achieve the best performance of your PC configuration since all temporary files will be stored in the fastest and most responsive memory module.
